Clinical facility
Students of this institute have an excellent
opportunity to undergo clinical experience during
the course of study as per norms laid down by Indian
Nursing Council.
The institute has its parent 1250 bedded ultra-
modern state of the art medical college hospital
consisting of modern laboratories and radiological
diagnostic facilities, 120 beds are exclusively
dedicated to critical care, 40 bedded well equipped
neonatology unit, 20 simultaneously functioning
operation theatres on fleet. Apart from basic
specialities, the hospital also has super specialities
such as Cardiology, Nephrology, Urology,
Neurology, Joint replacement, Re-constructive and
Plastic surgery, Laparoscopic & Paediatric surgery
departments.
Library
Well-furnished library named as “Akshara” is the
hallmark of the Institute with an excellent collection
of over 3500 national and international books, 25
reputed national and international journals for latest
evidence based clinical data.
A digital library provides services that include e-
books, e-journals, scientific videos and internet
facility to the students. The library functions from
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight x 7 days. Photocopy and
printing services are provided at a nominal cost.
