MEDICAL PROGRAMS
Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) 02.01
Intake: 150 (60 Govt., 60 Private / Open, 23 NRI & 7 Others) seats
Duration: 5 ½ years including one year Compulsory Rotating
Internship.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by Department
of Pre-University Education, Karnataka State or any other boards /
Councils / Intermediate Education established by State
Governments / Central Government or any recognised two-year
Pre-University, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, with a
minimum 50 % marks scored together in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology

• Candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31
December of the year of admission.
• Candidates are advised to check NEET 2021 brochure for the final
eligibility criteria
Admission Process:
• Qualify in NEET UG (for details visit https://neet.nta.nic.in/)
• Registration & Option entry by candidates on
https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/
• Karnataka MBBS admission will be conducted on the basis of
marks obtained in NEET UG exam, state merit rank, number of
seats and reservation criteria. KEA will publish the Karnataka NEET
merit list for eligible candidates. Online counselling & Seat
allotment by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)
• Reporting to the Institute for Admission Formalities
