Intake 150 (60 Govt., 60 Private / Open, 23 NRI & 7 Others) seats
Duration 4 ½ years plus 1 year Compulsory Rotating Internship.
Eligibility • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by Department of Pre-University Education,
Criteria Karnataka State or any other boards / councils / Intermediate education established by State
Governments / Central Government or any recognised two-year Pre-University, with Physics,
Chemistry, Biology and English, with a minimum 50 % marks scored together in Physics, Chemistry
and Biology
• Candidate should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31 December of the year of admission.

• Karnataka MBBS admission 2022 will be conducted on the basis of marks in NEET exam 2022, state
merit rank, number of seats and reservation criteria. KEA will publish the Karnataka NEET 2022
merit list for eligible candidates. Online counselling & seat allotment by Karnataka Examinations
Authority (KEA)

Description & • MBBS is an Under Graduate (UG) professional course designed to train students in all fields of

• The Program focuses on Pre-clinical (Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry), Para-clinical
(Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine) and Clinical (Oto-
rhino-laryngology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Paediatrics, General Medicine, General Surgery,
Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Radiology, Anesthesiology), Psychiatry, Tuberculosis & Respiratory
Medicine, Orthopedics subjects.
• After completing this course, students get to work in the capacities of a General Physician, Medical
Officer and also pursue postgraduate studies and clinical research
