Clinical Exposure
• SDM believes in nurturing a holistic education
which will help the students develop life skills as
they acquire knowledge and information. SDM
Physiotherapy Out Patient Department is separate
wing of about 5000 sq. ft. area with latest
Physiotherapy modalities and excellent clinical
facilities housed in 850 bedded SDM Hospital and
400 bedded SDM Specialty Hospital buildings. This
OPD not only caters to the needs of the patients,
but also creates an ideal environment for clinical
studies for our students.

• The OPD has Ortho & Sport Physiotherapy / Joint
Replacement Physiotherapy, Neuro Physiotherapy,
Paediatric Physiotherapy, Plastic Surgery
Physiotherapy, Cardio Respiratory Physiotherapy,
Community Physiotherapy, Obstetrics &
Gynecology Physiotherapy, General Surgery
Physiotherapy units. We are also associated with
Narayana Hrudayalaya having greater exposure to
cardiac patients.

• The students have an extended exposure through
their postings in Rural Health Training Centre, in
Yadwad and SDM Polyclinic, Hubballi.

• Students are posted to Sports Authority of
India(SAI), Dharwad for on-field assessment of
sports persons. The college has been extending
professional services during the various tennis and
Ranji tournaments held in Hubballi and Dharwad.
