General Instruction

Qualification and Admission Process:
Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University admits students from India & Abroad with the qualifications
obtained from Indian / Foreign Board / University to its Under Graduate (UG), Post Graduate (PG), Fellowship,
Ph.D. and Certificate programs in Medical, Dental, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Allied Sciences and Biomedical
Sciences, in addition to meeting the various eligibility requirements as stipulated by the regulatory bodies.

1 Introduction:
2.1 Under Graduate (UG) Admission
Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University
(SDM University) admits candidates on fulfilling the SDM University considers candidates with the following Boards
eligibility requirements. All admissions are on the basis / qualifications
of merit as specified in the Eligibility Criteria & • 10+2 of India obtained from recognized Central (CBSE / ISC)

1.1 Foreign / NRI Category: • An Act of Central / State Government

program is allocated for Foreign / NRI category. This
includes foreign citizens, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) 2.1.2 International Boards
Card Holders, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Non-
Resident Indian (NRI) and NRI- sponsored candidates The eligibility is based on the qualifications recognized by the

2.2 Post Graduate (PG) Admission
All admissions to UG & PG programs (other than those
listed in the note below) under Foreign / NRI category, Candidate shall be eligible for admission to a Master’s degree

2. Qualifications:
Candidates seeking admissions to Under Graduate
(UG) / Post Graduate (PG) / Super Specialty (SS) should
have obtained their qualifications from a recognized
Board / University. For PG programs, the candidates
must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years
duration from a recognized University as per program
requirement.

Candidates with foreign qualifications must submit
equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian
Universities (AIU), New Delhi as per program
