SDM College of Physiotherapy (SDM CPT), Dharwad, was established in 1996 with the vision of
providing quality education and training in the field of Physiotherapy. Over the years, the institution
has earned a reputation for academic excellence, clinical competence, and professional development,
producing skilled physiotherapy professionals who serve in healthcare institutions across India and
around the world.

As a constituent unit of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University (SDM University), the college
is recognized by the Government of Karnataka and is committed to maintaining the highest standards

in physiotherapy education, research, and patient care.

A major strength of the college is its association with the 1,250 -bed SDM Hospital, which provides
students with comprehensive clinical exposure across multiple specialties. This enables students to gain
practical experience in assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and patient management in diverse

healthcare settings.The college is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern laboratories,
