SDM Institute of Nursing Sciences was established in 2006, since its inception, the Institute has
grown into one of the leading nursing institutions in Karnataka and a culturally diverse centre

for nursing education in Northern Karnataka.

The Institute is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, and the Karnataka
State Nursing Council (KSNC), Bengaluru, ensuring its programs meet the highest national and
state standards. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate nursing education within a dynamic,

integrated healthcare system, combining teaching, research, and clinical practice.

The Institute is supported by its parent teaching hospital, a 1,250bed, state-of-the-art tertiary
care facility equipped with modern laboratories and advanced diagnostic and radiological
services. The hospital provides comprehensive healthcare across a wide range of specialties
