Description

A two-year diploma Program in Public Health offers training in healthcare services such as promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services. They can also participate in various national health surveys, screening camps, research activities. They have external postings where they are exposed to clinical departments to learn concepts of palliative care, maternal and child health services, mental health, communicable & non-communicable diseases.

They can become primary care physicians, committed teachers, researchers, hospital administrators, occupational health specialists, pharmacologist, epidemiologist in pharmaceutical industries and consultants in various NGOs and world health bodies

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pass in MBBS degree from an Institution / University recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)
  • Internship completion and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Medical Council.
  • Candidates holding foreign degree must be registered practitioners in the Country from where they have obtained their degree and MUST obtain a temporary registration certificate from National Medical Commission (NMC).
