Autoimmune Disease-Inflammatory Bowel Disease
Inflammatory Bowel Disease is characterized by Chronic inflammation that results in damage to the Gastrointestinal Tract. We are focusing on the nutritional and immune factors profiling among IBD subjects and the role of miRNAs in regulating the immunopathology of IBD.

Chronic liver Disease
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common type of primary liver cancer. We are investigating miRNAs with potential circulating biomarkers for the detection of HCC, metabolic profiles and Des gamma carboxy prothrombin (DCP) levels in patients with HCC.

Antimicrobial Resistance
ESKAPE group of microorganisms is one of the leading nosocomial infections and multidrug resistance. We are evaluating the therapeutic potential of antimicrobial peptides against the organisms isolated from clinical isolates and the Purification of peptides from Scylla Serrata. We are screening the biofilm against these isolates and identification through the phenotypic and genotypic. To find new peptides against biofilm ESKAPE isolates, which can be alternative sources to overcome antibiotic resistance and biofilm.
