Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before proceeding with any online payment through the SDM University website. By accessing or using the online payment facility available at https://sdmuniversity.edu.in, Razorpay acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions
Scope and Applicability
These Terms govern the use of the online payment system provided to SDM University, Dharwad for the purpose of remitting Sundry Payments of all nature other than fees related to academic course fees, course enrolments, and such similar fees in bulk.
Payment Gateway and Transaction Handling
All online payments referred (1) above are facilitated via a secure third-party Payment Gateway.
Payments can be made using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, and other approved digital payment methods where origin of funds so remitted shall be from approved Banking Channels of the remitters.
Ultimate process of remittance, transactions shall be processed in Indian Rupees (INR) only even where origin of funds is in foreign currency remitted from abroad / within India by NRIs.
The SDM University shall not be responsible for any issues arising due to disruptions in connectivity, banking errors, or technical failures beyond control of the SDM University. Any claim/s arising out of such events shall be redressed by Razorpay and or by the concerned Banking Channel from whom the funds originated and the SDM University is no way accountable, liable to redress such claims, if any.
Our Obligations
Users shall provide accurate and complete data for payment. For consequences, if any, due to incorrect details in the Payment Order and or errors inscribed in the system either by the Remitter or by Razorpay or by intermediary Banking Channel, SDM University shall not be accountable, responsible, liable , for any claims, damages to the remitter or any other third party connected to the transaction, including Razorpay and Intermediary Banking Channel.
Remitter must ensure that the correct purpose of Remittance, Registration No., Enrolment No. etc. are inscribed in the payment system.
Confirmation and Receipt
Upon successful completion of the transaction, a system-generated confirmation email and/or SMS must be sent to the remitter inscribed in the Payment Gateway system by Razorpay.
All complete transaction data file must be with reference number allotted by Razorpay for future correspondence by the SDM University or by the Remitter or by any other Statutory Authority as per the legal system in India, with due intimation.
