Eligibility Criteria

• A candidate seeking for admission to M.Sc. (Human Genetics) program must have passed a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration in biological sciences (Biomedical Science / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Genetics / Home Science) or passed bachelor degree in BE/B-Tech in Biotechnology / Medical / Dental / B. Pharm / Pharmacology/ Animal sciences and any other bachelor degree in life Science or computer science from reputed and recognized University/Board recognized as equivalent by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates who are currently in the qualify exam are also eligible to apply the M.Sc. (Human Genetics). In such a case, they have to clear it before the finalization of the admission process.
