Leadership Training Program held on 1st & 2nd September, 2025

SDM University has conducted a two-days Leadership Training Program on 1st and 2nd September 2025 for the selected students of their constituent institutions. This Leadership Training is been conducting for the successive fourth year in SDM University in association with M/s. M. R. Pai Foundation, Mumbai. Two eminent Corporate Trainers Mr Sachin Kamath and Mr Sudhir Pai from M. R. Pai Foundation, Mumbai to enlighten our students. About 90 plus students have taken part in the two-day Leadership Training Program. This time Mrs. Gita M. R. Pai, Trustee and Mrs. Swati Kapadia, CEO of M. R. Pai Foundation came as Special Guests for the program.

The Management Topics taught in two days training is:

Goal Setting & Achieving - A Road Map to Success, Sharpening Communication Skills, Mastering Habits-Unlocking Personal Potential, Decision making & Problem Solving, Enhancing Essential Teamwork Skills, Believing in Oneself: Building Meaningful Connections.

Mrs. Gita Pai told in her speech that

• Students must follow and practice the Professional ethics very closely
• Health Professionals must extend Personal Touch care like then the General Practitioners
• Every student must build up some kind of Leadership Qualities in them
• Transform the available opportunities into our gain and practice

Dr Niranjan Kumar, Vice Chancellor felicitated Mrs Gita M.R. and Mrs Swati Kapadia, Shri Jeevandhar Kumar, Pro VC, Mrs Gita M. R. Pai distributed the certificates to the participating students. Dr K. Satyamoorthy addressed the students during the inaugural program. Mr Babanna Shettigar, Chief PRO, SDM University compered the program and proposed the vote of thanks.
