World Environment Day Celebration

SDM University celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2026 at SDM Dental College Campus under the Theme "Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future". Dr. Chidanand S. Ramanagoudar, Eminent Surgeon and Environmentalist of Dharwad was the Chief Guest.  Dr. Niranjan Kumar, Vice Chancellor was presided over the function. World Environment Day was celebrated in association with NSS Unit of SDM Dental College.

After planting the saplings in the Dental College campus, the Chief Guest told that

• All have to start today to contribute towards to save our Environment
• Climate Changes are the main causes for all diseases and disasters
• Everybody, Everywhere, Everyday have to take care of God Gifted Nature
• SDM Students are lucky to have the best environmentalist Poojya Shri D. Veerendra Heggade as their Leader
