SDM University & SDM Medical College websites launch event on occasion of Founder's Day

SDM University celebrated the Founder’s Day and 5th Anniversary of the University on 25th November 2023. Founder’s Day is celebrated every year on the occasion of Birthday of our Hon’ble Chancellor Poojya Shri D. Veerendra Heggade.

This year our Hon’ble Chancellor celebrated his 75th birthday and on this occasion, the SDM University & SDM Medical College websites were launched by Dr. Niranjan Kumar (Hon'ble Vice Chancellor) in the presence of Founder’s Day orator Dr. Ashok Shettar (Vice Chancellor, KLE Technological University, Hubli). Meticulously redesigned and developed entirely in-house by the talented team under the guidance of Shri Saketh Shetty (Director Administration) and highly encouraged and supported by Dr. Niranjan Kumar (Hon'ble Vice Chancellor), Smt. Padmalatha Niranjan (Executive Director). This major overhaul represents our commitment to providing an enhanced digital experience for our users, ensuring that our websites not only meet but exceeds modern standards of functionality, accessibility, and aesthetics.

The websites were overwhelmingly appreciated by Dr. Ashok Shettar, Executives, and all the Dignitaries & Guests.

The journey to these revamped websites has been a collaborative effort, driven by our dedicated IT Team lead by Dr. Sandeep Punde. Their expertise, creativity, and hard work have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. The team conducted extensive research, user testing, and iterative development to ensure that every aspect of the website meets high standards.
